The Contortionist's Handbook is also very good -- Craig's debut. But Derma takes writing to a whole new level. I swear I hallucinated reading some of those passages. Check out The Velvet, you'll feel right at home and always have a great list of books to add to your wish list (which, if its like mine, grows so fast I couldn't read them all in three lifetimes).

    Take care,

    Roger

Weirdsville USA;The Obsessive Universe Of David Lynch;Woods, Paul A.
The Art Of The Ridiculous Sublime; On David Lynch's Lost Highway;Zizek, Slavoj

The Velvet is really a relaxed, informative forum for great books and films. You MUST read Will Christopher Baer's "Kiss, Me Judas" and Craig Clevenger's "Dermaphoria" -- two of the greatest novels of the past decade. Gritty, hip, literary, and not derivative of any existing genre, these guys are the real deal for the future of fiction.

    Hi Marc,

Timequake was awesome! It's very strange with non-linear timelines as all Vonnegut books are, but I really thought it was interesting. I like this site alot and I'm glad you are reading, if I only had time to read all the fun stuff on here, sigh...
