I am from Where Wild Things Are.
The monstrous people that have loving hearts.
I discovered myself through the pages.
I found my passion for reading.
I am from Junie B. Jone’s.
Helping me through my first day of kindergarten.
I was picked on being the only one able to read books without stumbling.
I found my hunger for words.
I am from The Magic Tree House.
Back in time, to the future, or finding the present, I was yearning to go places.
With my dad wrapped around my finger, he built me a tree house.
I found my fondness of history.
I am from The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.
Through my closet my imagination soared for hours in hope I would go somewhere beautiful with castles.
It happened but it was in my mind, I had so many adventures.
I found my love of writing.
I am from Redwall.
I’ve grown in spirit and in heart.
I follow the ways of God and I’m humble.
I found the courage to stand up for what I believe in even when it got hard.
I am from Walk Two Moons.
New school no friends and crying.
Seeing all the cliques and wondering if I’ll fit in.
I found it’s not civil to judge.
I am from Freak the Mighty.
My brain is excelling and I’m wishing that more people could understand me.
I saw the true colors of people instead of their masks.
I found a friend that I believe I’ll have for a lifetime.
I am from The Window.
My mind is racing with wonder, and growing ever so tired.
I feel like I’m trapped in a different time waiting for someone to save me.
I found that time goes by very fast and it’s precious, so keep it close.
I am from Beastly.
I’m vulnerable but not scared to be myself.
I see my first crush, got my guts up but they failed.
I found, boys aren’t worth your trouble they will only disappoint you.
I am from the present, there is no book, it’s still being written.
I am myself I don’t let others make me adjust me to their standards.
I have my friend that I’ll have for a lifetime and regret nothing from my past.
Time is precious so I keep it close.
This poem pretty much explains me.
