I've loved to read since I was a little kid. About two years ago I started working at my local bookstore, and it's my dream job. I get paid to play with books and discuss books with other people; what's not to love? I went from Boxcar Children to Babysitter's Club to Star Wars to Dragonlance to Buffy the Vampire Slayer to Paranormal Romance/Urban Fantasy. Anything with vampires in it I'll take a crack at. About a year ago, I decided to write my own paranormal romance. Figured I'd read enough of them, so it should be a piece of cake. *snort* About that...Anyway, a year has passed, and I've decided to write three books. My plan is to get all three finished and then start searching for a literary agent. I figure if I have three completed books, they'll be more likely to take me seriously. First one's almost done; just have to finish one final revision. I'm about halfway done with the first draft of the second book with an outline done, and I'm about a quarter through the outline on book three. I'm getting there. My books are going to be about a group of people that have dedicated their lives to keeping the bad guys in check. Demon hunters and the like. I'm still working on summarizing in a paragraph or less, and once I figure it out, I'll let you all know. « less
