    Hi Mandy, I just signed up for Shelfari today to try to get the word out about my novel (I just published it last week!), and your bookshelf came up as a good match for me b/c you're in the "chick lit" group-- and speaking of your bookshelf, OH MY GOD I haven't thought about "Flowers in the Attic" and "Petals on the Wind" since I was about 13- I think I read them each 10 times. Anyhow, my book (“Perfect on Paper”) is a funny read about a single woman in San Francisco whose life is hardly perfect. I thought I'd send you a note in case you want to check it out. I know it's a bit crazy to contact you directly about it since I don’t know you, but I figured why not? I have to start somewhere to get word-of-mouth going outside of my own friends, and it’s obvious you like to read! :)

    I just wanted to welcome you to the group I moderate, Play Book Tag. Sorry it has taken me a bit - - I just got back from vacation (skiing) in Montana. I like your shelf! I've read quite a few of the books you've got on there. I see you are reading Lucky right now. I just finished Sebold's latest, Almost Moon. I preferred Lucky! How are you enjoying it?
