MahoganyRain

I am an avid reader because there is nothing really good to watch on t.v. I mainly read African-American fiction but am trying to expand my horizon. So, if you have any good book suggestion please drop me a note.

I'm sorry, MahoganyRain, but I won't be able to compete in this round. My grandfather passed away today and I don't think I'm up to reading a whole book now. I think we were severely anyway disadvantaged because I was at school when the round started and It looks like a team will win very soon. It doesn't look like we had any chance but I had a lot of fun playing the other rounds anyway. Again, I'm sorry. I wish it could have worked out differently.

I have a book lined up for Israel. I have an idea. You can choose one of the other countries and then we both find a book that is tagged with the remaining country. I think the meal challenge would be the best.

    The Ancient One says

A man entered a village and went to see the Sufi Master. The visitor said "I'm deciding whether I should move here or not - and I'm wondering what the people here are like?" The Sufi Master said "Tell me, what kind of people live where you come from" The visitor said "They were robbers, cheats and liars" The Sufi Master said "You know, those are exactly the same kind of people who live here" The visitor left and never came back. Another visitor entered the village and asked the same question of the Sufi Master "I am thinking of moving here - can you tell me what the people are like?" Again the Sufi Master asked "Tell me, what kind of people live where you come from?" The visitor said "Oh, they are the kindest, gentlest, most compassionate, loving people. I shall miss them terribly" The Sufi Master said "Those are exactly the kinds of people who live here too"

Yes, I would like to compete in all the legs too. Ok, I'll try to find an England tagged book of about 200 pages. For the other tags I prefer Japan, America, Ireland and Italy. Do you prefer to have any of those tags? If you do, I don't mind reading different tags.

Hi, MahoganyRain. I was wondering what tag you would prefer to use for Leg 1 of the challenge. I don't mind either way. Also, do you want to compete in all the legs or just a few? Again, I don't mind either way. If you only what to compete in a few just tell me which ones. I would prefer to compete in Leg 1 as it will be on the weekend, but otherwise I don't mind which other legs we compete in.

Yes, there were three books in the package. The packaging list says that the Barbie book wasn't shipped because it was no longer available.
