* I work with dog rescue to help homeless weiner dogs (www.mwdr.org). I have 3 dachshunds of my own (Ansel, Willie and Joey. That's Joey in the picture)

* My favorite books ever are Little Women and the Little House on the Prairie Series
* My personal heroine is Laura Ingalls Wilder because we share "itchy feet" and I admire her courage and determination to speak her mind during a time when women were expected to be quiet.
