I am a stay at home mom of two very active sons aged 4 and 2 and a newborn daughter. Once upon a time I worked in the Youth Services Department of my local library and actually had time to read. Now, not so much, but I still make sure to have 2 or 3 titles going at one time. My love for reading was given to me by both my dad and mom. I now try to instill that same love in my sons.
I usually read general fiction and can't say I favor any particular genre--although it is unlikely you will find me reading Sci-fi/fantasy. You never know what I might be reading when it comes to non-fic--whatever strikes my fancy at the moment. Any subject is fair game. I do also love to read children's literature and enjoy sharing it with my children. WHile working in the Youth Services department I had the opportunity to read many great Young Adult and childrens books. I wish that there had been as many authors writing for children when I was growing up! I look forward to any suggestions for reading material and always have an open mind when it comes to books.

Outside of reading my interests are History, Cooking, Roadside America, Classic Films, and Paul Newman. « less
