I am a stay at home mom of two very active sons aged 4 and 2 and a newborn daughter. Once upon a time I worked in the Youth Services Department of my local library and actually had time to read. Now, not so much, but I still make sure to have 2 or 3 titles going at one time. My love for reading was given to me by both my dad and mom. I now...more »

I have no idea why my last post repeated itself. Sorry about that.

I finished New Moon last night and while I enjoyed Twilight, I really don't see a purpose for New Moon to have even been written, but that's just me. I've been told that Eclipse is much better.

I still can't understand how you can keep more than one book going at a time! Impressive! Have you gotten any further in Red Tent? I am nervous about how you will like it!

    Hello,
I noticed your cat picture when I was looking at some different books. We have some books in common and I saw books some on your shelf that I would like to read. That's what I love about Selfari; getting to snoop through others people's bookshelves to find more great books to read. I also share your love of children's literature. I'm a teacher and I think I probably enjoy the books my students read even more than they do!

I am enjoying it. It has been laugh-out-loud funny quite a few times. I have been reading it too sporadically for my liking...I could read it in one sitting if I ever had the time!

Let me know how you like "The Good Guy." I still haven't gotten around to reading a Koontz book yet and that one is one of the three I have on my list to read.

I increased your page total for LTS by 8, it didn't change the standings, just wanted you to know I had a different total than you.

Oh, and I see that you have added Pug Hill to your TBR list. Mom owns that one if you want to read it.

I extended voting for Good Reads until the 15th because I thought I had sent out notifications, but I hadn't.

One of our volunteers saw "Sleep Toward Heaven" on my desk and told me she read it for a book club and everyone really enjoyed it. They read different genres every month. Each month someone different selects a book.

Gopod morning Maggie, I haven't been up to much lately, and I just wanted to hello. Its foggy here and maybe rain later. I've been just reading and doing things at church with our veterans group and some other things I do there. Anyway I just wanted to say hi.
