Hi Maggie, The area where you live sounds wonderful. I have never visited that area but love western Canada. I used to go to school in Calgary and travelled out west quite a bit for my work and to visit friends and family. Mostly in Victoria, Vancouver and Calgary. I just read the book Remember Me from Sophie Kinsella and enjoyed it. It's light of course but funny like her other books that you have read so far. Claire
Hi Maggie, Thanks for the invite. I'm glad to see a fellow Canadian on this site. I find it strange that it is not more popular this side of the border. I haven't read Sue Grafton's latest novel yet. Glad to hear it's good. I'll keep that in mind for future read. Which part of BC do you live in ? Claire
If you haven't already, I was wondering if you might be able to help out your fellow Play Book Tag members. I'm organizing a game which is going to be a spinoff of Family Feud, except all the questions have to deal with Young Adult Books (this month's tag), but in order to play, I need to collect at least 50 survey responses. If you have time, could you please fill out the survey at the following URL:
It's only eight questions or so.
Many thanks, Anita
Thank you so much for joining Play Book Tag. I apologize if I'm a little late on welcoming you - - I just returned from vacation (skiing). I love meeting new member though and see from your shelf that we definitely have some similar taste. I adored Glass Castle and from your review, I can see you did as well. And I'm also a big fan of the whole "Not So Big" house book. My current house doesn't really qualify, but I did build (and subsequently sold) a vacation house that attempted to follow her principles, and I think she was totally on target with her thinking. I wish I could redesign the house I'm in! At any rate, we are about to start a new tag for March so please pop by at the end of the week to see what it is. I hope you can join in our conversations :). best, Anita
