Madhavi2002: I am writing to you in your capacity as administrator to Scientific Spirituality. Will the group come together any time soon to read a book together for discussion on this expansive topic of scientific spirituality?Currently, I'm reading books on theoretical physics. It's comforting to know that physicists are tackling with a peculiar phenomenon of quanantum physics--i.e., complementarity. The quantum factor tends to come up when consciousness is discussed. Though a lot of what is being served is thought experiment, we cannot discard the the ancient Greeks, through thought experiment, came up with the word "atom," and Einstein's theory of relativity, etc., was just that, thought experiments.So, when I read that "form is emptiness and emptiness is form," I believe the field of quantum physics can get us closer--in an intellectual way at first--to the nature of the universe.

Every person starts on the spiritual path because of fundamental consciousness of ones own simplicity, integrity, truthfulness, purity, blissful nature, but a deep sense of dissatisfaction from the events and people around... the process or journey of moving through the jungle of deep pain to realise ones own consciousness is always through some people or events, which helps us to feel empowered... that is personal spiritual experience...
