"When words fail, music speaks."

There is just something so exiting about opening up a book and slipping on someone else's shoes for a couple hours. Cry with them, laugh with them, go... more »

Exiting book that keeps you hooked the whole time.
About Widge an orphan who learns what life can really be like with friends and people who care about you.
I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

I always enjoy a well written fantasy and this was one of them.
Bilbo is caught up in an amazing adventure with 13 dwarves who have little respect for him and think his coming is usless. As the journey goes on Gandalf's prediction is correct and Bilbo deems himself usefull, saving the dwarves from a lot of sticky situations.
Great story fun and intense at the same time!

I really liked it. I was expecting it to be really boring but was so wrong it was extremely exiting.

I recommend this to anyone who enjoys learning about revolutionary war(like me) or history in general.
By the way Rab is awesome :).

I liked it a lot. I don't think it's the best writing I've ever read but the story was good and very enjoyable.
About a 14 year old girl keeping her family together during the hardest times in American history.
    Good easy read!

  • Jane Eyre
    • Rated 5 stars

After reading this for the second time recently it has now become one of my favorite classics of all time. Jane Eyre is possibly the best heroin in British Lit.
Through Bronte's brilliant writing you feel Jane's hope, joy, faith, and grief first hand.
My favorite books always contain a character who experiences growth through the story, Mr. Rochester is the character in this book he starts out proud and strong but by the end of the book after going through spiritual and physical brokenness he emerges a better man, maybe not healed completely physically but definitely stronger spiritually.
If you read the plot summary of this book you might think of it as just another story of forbidden love, but that isn't the half of it read it and you'll understand what I'm talking about...
I wish Bronte had written more books. Period.

  • A Bride for Donnigan

I found this book to be a little bit boring. Not one of my favorite of Janette Oke's books but it was still good. I liked Donnagin and Kathleen's relationship how they tried so hard to make it work you learn a lot about marrige by reading it and that you need God to bind it all together.
    Quick and easy read.
