I read a lot mainly because I am very curious about things and I have an insatiable thirst for information. Reading for me is the vehicle to be in the know, to learn more about things. Therefore I don't confine myself to books alone for this compulsion, but I do have a growing collection of books myself. Just got me a new big shelf a couple of months ago which also acts as a divider. But with my growing collection, I think I'm gonna need more shelf space in the near future.
I find it necessary to publish my collection online because there have been several instances in the past (almost every year, actually) that a well-intentioned soul would give me a book which I already own or read. :O
