This soldier has got guts and a conscience!

True passion for life comes from being able to be in awe of everything that is around us. Slowing down and becoming conscious of the small things we usually don’t notice allows us to see the complexity of our daily existence. This type of thrill is subtle. Instead of being overly excited and missing what is happening around us, we tune into the intricacies of our surroundings. By taking time to see life in this way today, you will have a way to be in the present moment and immersed in a sense of joy and amazement at the wonders of even the smallest aspects of your life.

Today, I am awakened, fully conscious and choosing each thought, word and deed to ensure my ever deepening understanding of Spirit, myself, conscious living and love sweetly expressed. Knowing that as I give, so I receive, I give generously of myself to all pursuits that support my expression, as a being of love and light… and in doing so I make more space within myself for the in pouring of divine love and grace. These are my birthrights and I claim them now. I release my words into the law of Spirit, where they are acted upon and made manifest now. I am filled with appreciation and endless gratitude for all that is mine, for all that is life, for all that is love.

    Hi, Lynnette,
Thanks for telling me about Shelfari. It looks like a great website for authors and readers alike. I've joined now, too, and my profile and book pages are up and running. Haven't added any books to my shelf yet. I'm looking forward to reading Rocky Mountain Oasis. It shouldn't be long now.

    Hi Lynnette,
I love your notes. You are a super person. Yes, I gave birth to all 7. They were all born in a 10 year period. So they are close in age. Elias {Eli} is 24, Caleb is 22, Jordan is 21, Jacob is 19, Thomas is 18, Hannah is 16 and Andrew is 14. My husbands family has 10 children, but I'm only from a family of 4 children. Love big families.
Are you on Facebook? I am and would love to see you there. Lots of my family is on there and I spend more time there than here.
Hope you're having a wonderful day.
    Blessings, Wanda

    Hello Lynnette,
You sure are busy with children, your home and writing, but it must be exciting. How many books have you written. I see you have one coming out soon.
How's your weather? Yes, I'm addicted to weather. We have just been through a ice storm here in OH. Lost our power from Wednesday until Sunday evening. All is well now. The next few days will be in the 40's and 50's.
    Blessings, Wanda

    Greetings Lynnette,
    Thanks for the note.
I also loved the books by Ted Dekker, Heaven's Wager is so beautiful.
I have lots and lots of fave authors, Randy Alcorn, Dee Henderson, Jan Karon, Janette Oke, Karen Kingsbury, Ted Dekker and many, many more. Who is your favorite?
    How is your weather?
Here in OH we are having cold and snow. Are you reading any good books right now? I'm reading the Heather Creek series. It's from Guidepost. This one is called "Homespun Harvest" by Robert Elmer.

    Have a blessed week,

    Hi Lynette,
Thanks for the note and friendship request. We got lots of snow - but I don't like in Puyallup anymore. I'm in South Dakota, wishing I was back in Puyallup. I understand they did get a little bit down there. I was a member of NCWA and made it to one meeting last year.
    Merry Christmas to you too!
If I ever do move back there, perhaps we'll bump into each other some time.
