Hello Lynette S,
Allow me to paint you a picture with words.
You’re awakened a little before six in the morning as a pebble hits your window and then another, tired eyes are pried open. The sun is barely above the horizon and a screech from outside doesn’t sound human; in fact it’s the most unusual sound that you have ever heard. Another pebble entices you to get up and push your window open; you look down at your best friend. “What the heck are you doing?”
“Tell me that you see that!” she says, pointing up at the dragon.
It’s an unbelievable sight. “That’s impossible,” you say. “I must be dreaming.”
A huge black dragon with fiery red eyes is beating its wings so that it can hover in place and it looks puzzled by what it’s seeing. “What is this strange place?” The landscape looks so strange to the dragon.
“You can talk? Where did you come from?” You ask.
The dragon gestures with its huge head. “That hole in the sky.”
“There’s no--” and then you see it. A large black hole in the blue sky and as you stare at it with your mouth open three more dragons fly out it, red this time, baby dragons fighting, blasting fire balls at one another.
“Run for your lives,” screams the black dragon. “The evil ones are not far behind.
Unrealistic or not my writing gives me hope. But with something like 50 000 books published every month it is a little discouraging. I didn’t think there were that many writers. But I continue to write and hope.

Hello Lynette S, I read Amazon has you as a member “with” Ted Dekker’s “Infidel” on their shelf, so I’d like to recommend another Christian Thriller, "The Diaries of Pontius Pilate.” It draws upon the author’s military background and has great reviews. “Diaries” is not a vanity or self-pub book, but is published by Trestle Press, a small independent press outside of Philadelphia under its imprint, Helping Hands Press, that gave a Christian novel a chance. Full disclosure - I wrote it and hope you’ll give it a chance.
Best wishes, Joe Lewis www.josephmaxlewis.com
