I've been an avid reader for as long as I can remember. I read a whole variety of fiction, but have a special fondness for crime and fantasy. My favourite authors of fiction include Margaret Atwood, Martha Grimes, Elizabeth Peters and Tom Holt. A couple of newly discovered writers I'm coming to really enjoy are George R. R. Martin and Tess Gerritsen. I also read quite a lot of history books, mainly biographies, but sometimes about a place or period in time that interests me.

The books on my shelf represent the majority of those I own along with a few books I want to read but am yet to purchase. I won't even attempt to add all the books I've borrowed from the library over the years. « less
