I like all sorts of books-from historical romance to mystery to fantasy fiction, though paranormal and paranormal romance are my current obsession. The only books I don't like to read are non-fiction books. Blech. Who wants to read about real life? Not I. I do tend to read series, or get hooked on a particular author, as you may notice. Hey, Erin! I managed to enter my Shelfari account for the first time in almost a year, but that's not too much of a loss, isn't it?

You should ask my husband (John M. in my friends) to be your friend. He has some of your books on his shelf.

I really liked the 13th tale. It was hard for me to get into at the start but about 1/4th of the way through I couldnt put it down. I liked the characters and the story was haunting and different from other books that I have read before. Did you like it?

After your comment I added in a few of my favorite children's books and am racking my brain for some of the lighter books I've read. I'm not really such a serious person! My bookclub was started by some moms whose kids were in Spanish lessons together. Someone brought it up and everyone thought it was a good idea. My group doesn't accept new members until someone drops out. I know that Liz belongs to a group. You could ask her. All of the libraries have at least one too and those have to be open to the public. I'm reading A Shadow in the Wind, which is a Maple Valley library book club book. The meeting is on the 8th and I'm going to go if I finish the book--maybe even if I don't finish in time.

I know, I have to sit at the computer for longer than 1 minute so it may be empty for a while. I may give this project to Brian.

My brother got me a tomb raider book for Christmas, because I had told him that my kids were reading graphic novels and I didn't understand why. Turns out, they are kind of fun to read! However, I think I'd try a different "collection" because they changed the main character's looks and personality half way through the series... stupid! Hee hee.
