“Although this was written well and I was really immersed in it, I cried more reading it than any other book (no, I haven't read Marley & Me yet). It had so many sad things happen and I kept saying I was finished reading it every time another thing happened, but I kept picking it back up again. Also, if you're a pet lover and can't handle reading sad things about them, this book is not for you. I had to skip past a few spots because I'm extra sensitive to all things related to animals. So, be prepared for this to not be a happy book, although it was very good.”
