oops I guess I should have checked which shelf it was on first... Thanks anyway.
Hi, I noticed that you have Jordan Dane's No One Heard Her Scream on your shelf. My daughter has expressed an interest in this book (and another by the same author). I was wondering if you could tell me if there is anything too explicit in it. My daughter is only 13. I dont have an issue with gruesome or scary but if it is too sexual I will need to put a hold on allowing her to read it. I would appreciate any help that you could give me! Thanks!
Dear Luvs: I am also from Maine. My debut novel, HUNTING THE KING, hit the bookshelves this week. I hope you will keep an eye out for it. I will be in Maine at several evemnts coming up in May, in Falmouth, Brunswick, S. Portland, Augusta, and at the Maine Reads event in Portland on May 16. I hope you'll read on to find out what the book is about. Also, check out the YouTube book trailer. The publisher did a remarkable job capturing the intensity of the novel.HUNTING THE KING is a fast-paced page-turner that follows archaeologist Molly O’Dwyer into war torn Iraq in search of the remains of Jesus. ForeWord Magazine says: “Fans of intellectual thrillers and historical fiction will find a worthy new voice in Clenott. His best invention may be Molly O’Dwyer, a genuinely likable heroine who more than holds her own in a man’s world. An ambitious scientist, she is also an observant Catholic whose heart and mind don’t always agree. Given such an auspicious start, the sequel can’t come too soon.” Molly O’Dwyer is an in-your-face woman with a mysterious background who’s about to go on the adventure of a lifetime. To get a good sense of how powerful the book is, check out the heart-pounding booktrailer on YouTube or on my web site at www.peterclenott.com. It is like watching a preview for an exciting movie. The novel is equally exciting. If you can’t get to your local bookstore, you can find it on Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, and Kunati Books. I hope you’ll take a look. And let me know what you think. You can talk to Molly on her blog at http://gospelofhannaniah.blogspot.com.Thanks. Peter.
