A few facts about me:
I teach 11th grade English and AP Composition at a rural school in Pennsylvania.
I enjoy teaching very much, although my true love for reading is what led me to the occupation.
And I enjoy being the student as much as being the teacher - I have a BS in English Education and a Master's of Education in English. My PhD is my next goal - waiting for my husband to finish his Associates in Computer, Electronics Engineering, Technology.
I am 32 and married with three children - ages 12yrs, 10yrs, 6 1/2yrs.
My family is also very involved in our church. My husband and I are youth leaders who are very involved in the lives of the teenagers of our church. My life revoloves around teenagers - they are my calling.
ALL of my spare time,as well as time that should be spent doing something else,is spent reading. I usually put off things that need to be done so I can read. The only thing that is never done at the last minute around my house is reading. People who make the blanket statement "I haven't had time to read" usually aren't readers like they think...a real reader makes the time.
I'm using these shelves to record every book I've read - almost all of them were on my physical bookshelf at one time or another. I tend to read in stages - the romance novel stage, the Danielle Steel stage, memoir stage, plays....
I only have one of four of my bookshelves listed under ownership on this site...it would take so long to list the books I actually own.
But, I love to see if other people are reading the same stuff I am - and I like to see what they think. So please take a look and let me know.
And, if you couldn't tell, I love to talk about books!
