Up for another reading challenge with the Page Turner Group? Now the idea is to pick a book from the list that has been listed as a page turner. If so, then we should be able to have a good read as well as check off a book from out list quickly. Is there a book on the list that you would choose for a group read?
Yes.. I always read "real" books too. smile~~ I just order them from amazon.. since it is like having my own personal bookstore right at my fingertips. I always but the book I'm reading at the moment on my Reading List.. so I have the fun of putting something up when I start a book.. but as soon as I finish it I then still have the fun of tranferring it to my regular shelf to show that I have finished it. It is just so much fun. It gives reading a whole new fun edge.
Yes.. I'm really thankful for Amazon.. it is now so much easier than it use to be to hunt down that elusive title. They do all the hard work and I just have to click a few times with my mouse.. and then try to be patient while I wait for the book to arrive in the mail. I love the feeling of starting that new book.. don't you? Then in the same way I love the feeling when I have finished it. ~grin~ Then, of course, this site just adds to the fun of reading as you watch your shelf here at shelfari grow. I hope you are reading a fantastic book .. and that today you'll have some time to enjoy it.
Hi.. it was nice to hear from you. Yes.. that is how it is for me .. book first then movie.. I think the only book I have searched out after seeing the movie is Bid Time Return. I hunted that down after seeing Somewhere in Time. I wanted more of that story after the credits were rolling. ~smile~
You have one of those book shelves that I keep finding book after book that I think.. Wow.. I wish I had read that before I saw the movie. It is always hard for me to read a book once I know the story.. but so many of your books are those wonderful stories that I never have forgotten once I saw the movie. One day I hope to have many of the titles you have on your shelves proudly standing on my shelves here on shelfari as having been read by me also. I do own most of the books you have.. but I haven't read them. I always seem to reach for those stories I don't know what will happen next. It has been great fun though looking through the books on your shelves. Thank you~
