What sort of reading are you wanting? Like chik lit (I like to call that mindless reading...hehe) or something that takes a little more concentration but still enjoyable? My mom actually recommended to me Intensity by Dean Koontz because she loved it so much. I ended up reading it and trust me, it does not disappoint! It's a little long and can be a little drawn out but it is an easy read and I guarantee that you will not be disappointed! It had my palms sweating and my heart racing throughout.

Lo, I am sorry for not writing you backand letting you know what is going on. One puppy was adopted the other is still with us...he weighs 20lbs. I was outside playing with him and another stray came up his ribs were protruding. He is in the garage. The other 2 dogs are taking it in stride. My cat has a thyroid problem -she has lost 3 lbs. And on top of all of this, I checked myself into the hospital for several days. My medication I didn't feel was working and low and behold it wasn't. I have been out a week on Monday.
My reading has slowed down. I still pick up books but it must be the time of year not like the summer. :)
How are you doing? I hvaen't read the Kite Runner - I knew it was a movie and it was something I wanted to read but it still sits on my shelf. No sense of urgency there.

i have been reading as fast as my little hands and eyes will allow me...just finished reading The Nine about the Supreme Court Justices. I enjoyed reading about their personalities. I am in a book club and need to read The Refuge by Dot Jackson and picked up 365 Nights the author is appearing in town. i also started reading atlas shrugged. the introduction is quite informative. I have a few books from the library--the spare wife, the month of summer, the wilde women, paradise fields. and than i have the books which i have picked up at used bookstores and other that have been oh, soo patiently waiting to be read. i seriously have enough to last me until the new year and than some i predict.

when i played Wii for the first time....i actually coerced the little kids in the aisles to come and help me. HELP ME. you know how to play this game...they helped me. my family liked the look on my face...i was distracted and happy concentrating on jumping over mushrooms.

enjoy your time with you dad!!! sounds like you will have fun. enjoy, enjoy, enjoy

you are too much. banned from tapes--i am not there yet. i have another book on tape--the history of the pink carnation. too. my weekends are different i have three day weekends from mon-wed. i work on sat and sun. and this weekend we were not sure if we were preparing for hanna the hurricane to hit--so we had a lot of activity. i am banned from purchasing any groceries during an emergency. literally...i did not buy anything on the short list-3 items. and ended up with a basketful. give me an earthquake any day. i can handle it because you don't know when it will hit. but a hurricane--it was a bit unnerving for me. but luckily it didn't hit us--it went some where else. that kinda sounds mean because it hit somewhere else. OMG....almost forgot I did have a FAB weekend played Wii and knocked out 2 of my sons friends in boxing. and everyone pretty much sucked in baseball except a friend of mine who managed to score 2 runs. that game is really hard. i was sweating after boxing, tennis and baseball. seriously, on my honor--no joke!!

hello there, i am listening to the beach house. it is a different experience to be driving and listening to a story being told. i checked it out the library. now, the problem i have is simply do not do enough running around to do around town. it would be easy for me to walk out ot the car and put the cd in the cd player at home BUT that would be too easy. i hope all is well with you!!

Hello there my friend!! Have you read Pride and Prejudice? That is a good place to start. Enjoy!! I am reading a funny book right now. Cute and quirky with the words and letters. Always wonderful to hear from you. Puts a smile on my face. You are such the brat though telling me that your friend went to the bookstore. I can't wait to go out there. I can just browse but I will be bringing my list and my gift card...I still have about $10 on it. :)

let's discuss the friday night knitting club when you are done. i would like that.
i am glad that you got the books. ENJOY!!!
i am reading alpha girls right now. and am disappointed--i picked the book because of the cover and title but didn't realize it was written by a man talking about feminism. lucky for me i only spent $3.00 on the book. i am also reading generation kill....thanks to betraying our troops book. i have all these other books i want to read.
i am thinking about seriously banning myself from the library just so i can get caught up with my own books. only because everytime i go to the library i end up picking up 2-4 more books. whew...i had a lot to say. :)

Thank you...it's part of my garden with my garden toiling away. Am I mean godmother to have her work when she visits. We planted a tomato plant for her.

I will give you those books. The trade store we have here in town is about the size of the children's section of half-priced books. stop laughing!!

I drink ice white chocolate mochas. It does qualify as coffee. But in the winter time is when I start back up. Here with the humidty, I drink sweet tea or water. random is fine. :) I do random too.
