A lot of things in life can make you or break you. For me a good book is one of those things that has the power to do the first and fix the second. When i hold a book in my hand it is not only the story but also the feeling that changes me. The smell of an old book for me is like a fragrance of the highest quality. I am mostly in to historical romances and mythology. I love criminal invistigation stories both in books and movies. I am a CSI Miami addict. I have watched the show since the begining snd still lighjt up like a kid in a candy store when I watch it. One of my favourite movies of all time is The Note book and the book is even better. I belive in reading a book before seeing a movie made based on it becuse a movie never does a book justice. I see a person holding a I Pad on the train and as much as i appriciate other things it can do i resent the fact that in a few decades or so things will cahnge and we will all start doing that. I don't want to think of a time where Ii download a book and read it on a screen, a time where i wont feel the pages turn between my fingers. I am all for technology but that really scares me. I love my family and friends and they are my life. I am always looking forward to meeting new people here and talking to them about what kind of books they love.
