    It is very upsetting and I often think, "Oh, it happened so long ago, it wouldn't happen now days." But that wasn't long ago and it is still happening. It is revolting. I passed that book along to someone else. I loved it. Mostly because I was continually amazed at how faithful she was to God. So powerful and I only hope I can be as forgiving in my life as she is!... On another note Just finished The Hunger Games. Such an exciting read, I haven't read anything as entertaining as that in a while. Thanks for the suggestion! I have a stack of new books here waiting to be read... Have you heard or read any of them? These is my word-Sara Agnes Prine, Snow Flower and the Secret Fan- Lisa Lee, Your heart belongs to me- Dean Koontz, Evening Class-Maeve Binchy, Fire of the Covenent- Gerald Lund, Pride and Prejudice (Have never read it), and The Next thing on My List.

    I'm from the Canada group and just wanted to stop by to welcome you to the group. It's not a terribly active group, but it tends to comes in spurts. There is a Welcome and Introductions thread if you'd like to introduce yourself there. We also have a review thread if you read anything by a Canadian author. Of course, feel free to contribute to the other threads as well! Enjoy! :-)

    I see you've jumped right in and gotten involved already! Thank you for that! If you are interested in checking out the thread "Vote for our group read", and scrolling to the bottom of the thread, I am trying to find out if anyone is interested in reading The Halifax Connection. We did vote on a group read a while back and read it. Someone suggested we read the rest of the nominated books as well. The next one we did, turned out to be mainly the two admins reading. :-) So, before we officially start on the next book, I wanted to see if there was any interest first. Pop by there and let us know if you are interested in reading it with us. Thanks!
