    It was given to me two xmas's ago and i picked it up and read part of the middle (shame on me) at the tme I was in the middle of writing a novel that I didn't want distractions from and reading another paranormal novel so I put it down. Now I'm all a go! Whoo Hoo.

    Wow Paris. How fantastic! I'd love to travel to Paris, well, most places in Europe for that matter.
    My summer is productive yet seemingly at a stand still. Weird. Hows yours aside from fantastic trips?

    would like to invite you to participate in the ABC contest starting on July 1, 2008.
    I will post a thread that has the letters of the ABC's list, then start your own thread for example mine would be Sherry's ABC's and list the books that you read with those letters has the first letter in any title of book, it doesn't have to be in the genre either. Each person will be responsible for sending me their points via the group email at vampireswitchesweresallthat@yahoo.com. For every book you read during the time period (until the next letters are posted) you will receive 10 points in the email you must list the title, author, and pages so that if there is tie, we will use page count to break the tie. Everyone is eligible to win, even admin's as a third party will be keeping track of the points for me...so post the books you read...I will post the first letters on July 1.

    Hey Loweyes, I see that you are planning on reading some of Hemingway's work; are you revisiting or discovering? I have yet to delve into his work; I was at a bookstore (while on jaunt, in Europe) last winter, and was pleasantly surprised to find a sliver of Americana there: in the form of his books. (Apparently he was a very frequent and special visitor to that city..)..And yet I have not picked up his books yet. I just read 'Peony in Love', sweet read, if you like historical fiction.

    Thanks for the invite. ^_^ I enjoyed looking at your shelf... particularly the graphic novels tag. ^_^ You reminded me of a few graphic novels I would like to read (the end of the *Sandman* series, *Maus*, *Fables*), but strangely enough the library here doesn't carry them. ^_^; I need to find time to go to Barnes and Noble and read all their copies for free! =P

    You do have a great avatar! I just wanted to pop by and thank you for joining Play Book Tag. Slowly, but surely, I'm making my way around to introduce myself to our members. We just started the group about a week ago, and I'm really excited about it. I see you've read LOTS of books I haven't . . .in terms of fantasy, I've only really read Harry Potter, The Hobbit, and some LOTR. What other series do you recommend most? When our tag is fantasy (which I'm sure it will be at one point), I suspect you'll have tons to contribute. But in the meantime, even if you aren't reading a historical fiction book right now, we welcome your comments and input on any of our discussions. Look forward to seeing you at Play Book Tag.
