I am the author of Justified Treason, and my original draft was all 3rd person. I went back and attempted to do Part III in 1st person and the transformation was amazing! I could hear the wood on the deck creaking below my boots, I could feel the weather and see the stars. I was there. :) As for books 2 and 3 in my series, I am doing as much 1st person as possible. Book 3 maybe all that way.
Hello Loverlypurple, I read Amazon has you as a member “with” Steven James “Pawn” on their shelf, so I’d like to recommend another Christian Suspense / Thriller, "The Diaries of Pontius Pilate.” It draws upon the author’s military background and has great reviews. “Diaries” is not a vanity or self-pub book, but is published by Trestle Press, a small independent press outside of Philadelphia under its imprint, Helping Hands Press, that gave a Christian novel a chance. Full disclosure - I wrote it and hope you’ll give it a chance.
Best wishes, Joe Lewis www.josephmaxlewis.com
Hello Loverlypurple: Thank you for downloading the kindle version of my book: GOD INSIDE THE FIRE: An Amazing True Story. It's a supernatural thriller told from the LIGHT side of the eternal realm, not the dark side, and the best news of all—the story is TRUE! May you be blessed by this impossible narrative and the wonderful confirmation of the power of God to answer ANY prayer, no matter the circumstance. Be sure to read it on your Kindle Fire because you're going to want to see the actual photos in color.
P.S. Write a review for me, will you? Thanks, Greg Stelley
Hi! Thanks so much for adding Offered for Love to your collection. If I'm not mistaken, that means you have all of the Miracle at Valley Rise Series now. I hope you enjoy them and I'd like to invite you to follow my blog, Lost in the Plains, @ valley.blogspot.com for news about future books and general musings on my life as a writer.
Hello Loverlypurple. Thank you for shelving Wilful: A dubious innocence. I thought you might like to know that Wilful has been re-edited and re-issued with a
new title, Sunset over Salhouse Broad by Charles Beddingfield. This second edition has extra material (about 5000 words) previously located on a website now brought into the eBook itself for a more convenient reading experience. The ending has also been changed with new chapter divisions, new material added and some material removed. The Prologue has been re-written to alter the initial impression of one of the main characters, and numerous further edits have been made throughout the text improving the flow and pace and removing some irrelevant technical detail from descriptions. Altogether, a very worthwhile exercise that has yeilded noticeable improvements.
I often like to re-read a novel and find I get more out of it second time around. If you do too, then you can can have your Kindle copy of Wilful upgraded to Sunset Over Salhouse Broad FREE OF CHARGE by deleting Wilful from your Kindle device and then re-downloading the file from the Manage My Kindle page in your Amazon Account. Alternatively, you can set the new automatic upgrade feature in the same place.
I value every reader and hope this information is useful to you. Happy reading! CB.
Hi Loverlypurple -
Thank you so much for adding my book The Movement: A Children's Story for Grown-ups to your shelf! I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it. Please stop by Amazon and leave a review, if you would. I would greatly appreciate it! Feel free to visit my website @ www.uncarvedbooks.com and say, 'Hi!'
That's cool. I live in Kenya (3rd world country), so there aren't many cultural events. The country is comprised of 42 ethnic groups yet there's an absence of fetes. Instead, people drink in their leisure time and holiday seasons. It's commonplace to find kiddies running around bars here. I'll check out that website. Thanks and have a lovely day.
Dracula: Hearts of Stone (Dracula is a good guy)
We start with a shiny new pot of boiling water and add too many evil vampires, and not enough of the good biters. Toss in one suicidal Dracula; add a cup of mayhem and a dash of romance. Oh yes, and a pinch of mirth. Stir lovingly and you have a novel by A. J. Gallant. If it sounds like the recipe for you then you must read Dracula: Hearts of Stone.

Unrealistic or not my writing gives me hope. But with something like 50 000 books published a month it is a little discouraging. I can just picture my book underneath that pile being crushed. I didn’t think there were that many writers out there. Must be a factory out there producing them like peanut butter cookies.
