I'm very sorry but I don't quite get what you are saying.
Can you, perhaps, include some URLs to help me understand?
I approved your title change request in July for "The Book of Negroes" » "Someone Knows My Name" and, sorry to say, now I have approved another editor's request reversing that decision. The principle in Shelfari would be choosing the most popular version, which is something somehow vague and difficult to measure. In July, the number of editions of either title was quite even, but with one more edition in favor of the title you prefer. It seems the number of either editions is still quite even, but with one more edition to "The Book of Negroes" after a combine. Besides, being the decision so delicate, an additional argument in favor of my new decision is that the Canadian author published it originally as "The Book of Negroes", being that title changed when released in the States.
Here's a link to a discussion where this book was mentioned: http://www.shelfari.com/groups/10713/discussions/403548/Error-Inappropriate-Language-
Whichever title to choose (this is a delicate case in which both titles seem to be quite popular), the other "aka" should always be mentioned right at the beginning of the Description section of the book page.
