I never liked reading as a kid. I had very poor reading comprehension skills. Then I grew up, got married to a man that has worn glasses all his life. I never liked reading as a kid. I had very poor reading comprehension skills. Then I grew up, got married to a man that has worn glasses all his life. He sent me to his eye doctor and it turned out I needed glasses. My problem as a kid was the letters all cramping together and I wasnt able to decipher the words.
Well, I got glasses and read like crazy.
My neighbor was a reader and belonged to a reading club with her family and friends. She had an endless supply of books I could pick from. She got me hooked on romance novels.
I read childrens books to my kids every night. They looked forward to bedtime to hear stories.
Then I got hooked on thriller, murder/mystery books.
Loved the Dan Brown books.
Now I am getting into the Chic Lit books. They are light fun easy reads.
