I live a typical Aquarian, PA Dutch-style life. I'm an artist: writer, painter, drawer, creator. I'm a seamstress, and enjoy working with alternative fashions, reconstructions, quilting, and décor--generally inspired by dark, earthy, natural, and somber fashions. I enjoy the re-construction of clothing no one wants anymore - the act of re-creating a masterpiece from forgotten cloth. Recently, weaving and natural (herbal) dyeing have become a new ventures. I also enjoy knitting, especially as the cold weather begins to move in.

My career-in-progress is Naturopathic medicine (becoming a Family primary physician while incorporating wholistic, naturopathic methods). Although I have been working closely with Naturopathic methods, manual therapies, and herbal medicines for well over a decade, my official degree is still being completed. And with this, we additionally strive toward a self-sufficient Homestead for our family.

I hope to some day become an Elder and teach the community, passing down the old ways.
I have been a practicing Earth spirituality/Paganism since I was about 12 or 13 years old. However, I have found my path home to the Old ways of my Northern Europe ancestors by faith of Asatru. I am one of the four co-founding Kinsmen of Haukafell Kindred (www.haukafellkindred.org). I'm the elected Officer ("Events & Field Trips Coordinator") of our local non-profit, Pagan religious organization, Reading Pagans and Witches (www.ReadingPagansAndWitches.com), and an early teacher in the community (mostly th Runes, Herbalism, Kitchen Witchery, and Pagan Reconstructionism).

I’m a quiescent, unusual being. I enjoy having fun & learning new things. Adventure & exploring. Dancing. I enjoy being contra-distinctive, atypically educational, and spontaneous.

My husband revels in metal-smithing, operating his guitar, and writing (undeniably, he's journalist material, though he'll see it not). He nests in the Taurean realm...grounded, methodical, preservative, pragmatic, he’s mysterious & extraordinary. He is everything that ameliorates my Utopian, eccentric theories that would have impoverished us aeon's ago. Together we have two young boys, Draven and Rowan. We have three felines, a sweet (but prissy!) Himalayan, a feral multi-color thick-coated tabby, and a mild-mannered all black cuddle-bug. We also have 2 hissing cockroaches, Sen and Gefla, and a Fawn colored hooded fancy rat named Gawain. And domesticated spiders. ;)
