The smell of a library or a bookstore thrills me... always seaching for other perspectives to be gained. I use reading as an escape from the daily grind and also as a reminder of how terribly blessed I am to have what I have (including the TIME to read!).

I am looking for books set in countries outside the U.S. and for social action non-fiction, for Christian hero tales, and anything well written that I can chew on long after the last page has been read.

I am a homeschooling mom of many and try to show a global perspective to our kiddettes. Searching always for new resources to stimulate our brains my eyes and ears are open...

As an artist I need to see/make/do art- the culinary and home arts not excepted. Great cookbooks are as good a read to me as many other "reading" books. « less
