In my spare time, I've written one novel, Dusk Before the Dawn (http://www.duskbeforethedawn.net). It's been called a Thriller, Science Fiction, Futuristic, Post-Apocolyptic. It's also been selected as a Finalist for the 2006 Book of the Year Awards from ForeWord Magazine....more »

Hi Larry, thanks for answering. I see you enjoy rugby, don’t you miss actual fighting? I remember that the time I did aikido was a lovely and very boring time. Wouldn’t you go for the no holds B. fighting rush?

It starts as the typical "epic" fantasy tale. (Damn publisher! LOL) But it quickly gets off task into a dark and brooding story. The main Character is prophesied to become this monster called the "Abyss Walker." The twist in the story is it him, or the monster they created to stop him. It is a huge book (269,163 words) so there is SOO much. Several reviews on BnN.com.

    Now to check out yers...

R.J.'s on chapter 17. So it's getting close for book 3. But we still have all the editing to do. You'll be one of the first to know when it's finished.

Thanks, yes, I'm a former student. He's not widely known outside of Texas, which is a shame. These days you can buy copies of his books for next to nothing.

    You're welcome. Thank you.

The second competition ends on August 30th. The actual book probably won't release until mid to late October, though we'll be pushing to get through all of the story and poetry selections, editing, introductions, and layout by the end of September.

I didn't mean to imply that your site does not receive traffic. I was just offering a free way to bring it even more.

I like the site. Of course, I really enjoy sci-fi and fantasy. There's a little bit of fantasy in the first Creative Writer book and I'm hoping we'll get more great stories in those genres for future books.

I wish you the best continued success with your book.
