Thanks for dropping me a note. Judging by your own bookshelf, there are a few things I would recommend possibly giving a try. As far as fantasy books go, Piers Anthony's XANTH series is a lot of fun (magic mixed with humor). The first book in the series is 'A Spell for Chameleon'. A more advanced book, but very approachable, that teaches not only a political lesson, but also lessons about life in general, is George Orwell's classic 'Animal Farm' (one of my favorite books :). An entertaining book that will also teach you about filling your purse with gold (i.e., learning about personal finances) is the wonderfully ingenious 'The Riches Man in Babylon" (which is also another personal favorite). Finally, if as a Christian you are looking for some insightful, entertaining books that will help strengthen your faith, and give you the tools to helpfully engage non-believers, I would highly recommend any of the books written by Lee Strobel; I believe that he has special editions of most of his books rewritten/directed especially for younger folks.

    Anyway...

Thanks again for the shout-out. I hope these suggestions will be helpful to you.

    God bless.
