Liz is an adult services librarian in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago. After graduating from Ripon College with a BA in English and Women's and Gender Studies, Liz launched a largely unsuccessful career as a secretary. Being in school was definitely more fun, and a lot less damaging to the morale, so Liz began to study Special Collections and Public Libraries as a full time student. After graduating in January of 2007, Liz despaired of ever finding a job, but she's now been employed at a great library for over a year now. Yay! « less
