Hmmm, what to write? I've been an avid reader since I was child. I remember racing home from school with the book order form and promising my Mom I would be good if only I could get the new "Choose Your Own Adventure" book. I soon graduated to Nancy Drew, Sweet Valley High & The Babysitters Club; staples of any girl's personal library. My tastes today are all over the place, as you can see from my shelf. Whether it's a work of fiction, an autobiography, or the latest bestseller, I am mostly drawn to stories of empowered women. I love nothing more than to lose myself in a character I love, no matter how flawed. I am a firm believer that there is something to learn from whatever it is you are reading. Apart from reading, I love music & musical theatre, going to the movies, "The Office", "Parks & Recreation", trying out new recipes, travelling (when I can actually get away from work), hanging out with friends, and simply relaxing with a cup of tea and a good book. « less
