Hey Ive finally joined! When I get time i'll actually update my profile.
Hey Louci,Best of luck on your first year of teaching! Sounds like you have an exciting year ahead of you. I hope you are more prepared than I was. I started teaching in 99, middle school, NJ, Social Studies and it was a nightmare. My student teaching was awesome. I earned A's in all my EDU classes. But realized after that first week in my own classroom that all that theory and those 5-page lesson plans are irrelevant in the real world.It's cool to see you doing a club. I believe that is where you make the best connections with students - in recreational settings. Those solid connections made outside the classroom tend to come back tenfold in the classroom.---michael

Thanks for inviting me! I have heard nothing yet but had a teacher from Mason Co. call me to tell me about more jobs there. I went in yesterday and spolke to Carla about the jobs to let them know I am still interested.
