Hi Literarysage,Consider the book Unscrambled Eggs has your next reading choice.
I am sooooo glad that you accepted my friendship. I am looking forward to talking with you.JASS!
have u read EAST OF EDEN by Steinbeck?...If yes, Let me know your opinion of the book.
What do you make of Paul Bowles? Did you know he was an accomplished composer? He's one of my favorite strange but wonderful writers. Appears as a character in Bourough's'Naked Lunch.
Wow. I never see anybody who reads both Tom Robbins and Paul Auster. I know both of them slightly personally from poetry and reading circles.
Looking through your shelf I found two books that I am very interested in. The first one is new to me, Naked Angels. The second one is A Heartbreaking Work Of Staggering Genius. How did you like them? Would you recommend them? I like beat writers so I have added Naked Angels to my list of books to read.
I started readin books only recently...its been only a couple of years so there are lots of genre I have still not explored but I am a little partial towards 'rags to riches' kind of stories like 'AS THE CROW FLIES' by archer etc....other kind of books that i read are epics, kind of...like PILLARS OF THE EARTH by follett.Basically I read novels to rid my mind of all the hussle n bussle around me and I tend to read books which i feel will INSPIRE me to grow big.
Hmm..interesting choice....what do u like abt those books?
hello! how do u do?...which genre of books do u prefer to read?
Definitely read The Road when you get a chance, then follow it with Blood Meridian. It's almost an ultraviolent version of the Wild West. My favorite Ellis book was Glamorama, too. Just love that book.
Great shelf, especially Franny and Zooey. I'd recommend Cormac McCarthy or Craig Clevenger if you're looking for new books to add.
