“I love Robin McKinley books. I believe this is the first one with a male as the lead character. She did an excellent job of writing as a teenager might, although sometimes it seemed a little too much. The story was wonderful (a real insight into parenting!) and the world she wrote about vivid. It almost had multiple endings, but it was well handled.”
