I took a tour through DC when I visited the US in the '80's, I remember how slack security was back then with tour groups, bet it has tightened up now.
where are you being transferred from and to, don't have to answer if it's private. My friend and her hubby were in the RAAF and had to keep moving around Australia every few years, it drove her nuts in the end expecially with 2 kids to settle into new schools.
Got to love a man in uniform.Craft work hmmm what haven't I attempted, I enjoy cross-stitch but have let it go for a couple of years, done tapesty, crochet, hand crafted christmas ornaments on and on and on. a friend and I used to sell our stuff at a monthly craft market and I think we got burnt out. working in a library (University) and handling heavy textbooks...especially the medical ones leaves my hand aching. We don't have novels at the city campus, so I can't hide between the aisles and read. LOLOnly like the hard sudoku now...not showing off just got bored once I mastered the easy ones, like kakuro and addoku as well. If you don't know what they are go to youplay.comthanks for the info re your books.
hi Lise, had a look at your webpage and could not find any sign of your books in Australia. They look similar to Harlequin Intrigue. I love all romance books, but not the soppy ones of the '80's and before. Have been an big fan of Nora Roberts and the fact that she has evolved with the ages if you know what I mean. Some authors get older and stuck in a rut. Keri Arthur is a Melbourne girl and I have met her and love her work, big fan of Sherrilyn Kenyon too. I like some Ellora's Cave novels but not too many at once...gotta have a break from all that lust. ;)Used to read Stephen King and the like in my 20's but now I'm in my 40's I'm tooooo scared. If your question was about hobbies and not books then....I like my craft work and doing sudoku puzzles and chatting on Shelfari and facebook. LOLDo you live in America and have you been writing for a long time.
Hi, welcome to Ellora's Cave group.
