If only I could experience something similar to what Bill Murray does in Groundhog Day; I'd finish every book in my bedroom. But sadly so it is not and I must combine reading with all the other aspects of life: Bachelors degree in Economics, Bachelors degree in Mathematical Statistics, debate society, lindy hop & charleston, local politics, and keeping up with appearances/the Joneses/current events. But every so often I do get some reading done. Sadly the list of books I've read increases at a slower pace than the list of books I want to read.
Currently I'm trying to complete the impossible and perhaps sisyphean task of reading all the classics before I turn 30. So far I've read perhaps 6 of them.
Top 5 books read:
The Black Book by Orhan Pamuk
Steppenwolf by Herman Hesse
The Ink Drum by Günter Grass
The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov
Cancer Ward by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
Authors I haven't read that I'm currently excited about (fiction):
Luigi Pirandello
José Saramago
Yasunari Kawabata
Shusaku Endo
Heinrich Böll
