Finally finished it. I hope Lehane's mysteries are a little more page turning.
Up to page 600 as of last night. Don't know what I'll do if someone else puts a hold on it.:-) It's funny--I read "Time Traveller's Wife" in one sitting, and Edgar Sawtelle in two days, but it's going on 5 weeks with Given Day.I am starting to enjoy it, however.

I just finished Army of the Republic. I had mixed thoughts about the book. Are you enjoying it?

I read a ton of sci-fi so unless you read that it is unlike we read much of the same stuff, Sarah Vowell Book is good although she is pretty serious about the characters, a real history buff.

Hi, Barbara. I missed the NYC conference this year because it was the baby's due date. I'm using GoodReads for stuff I'm reading now, Shelfari for penguin books, and LibraryThing for stuff I've read in the past. :D
