Thanks for the note Linore. My favorite genre is historical fiction - I've actually only read a few books that would be considered Christian fiction. Most of those you see on my shelf have been sent to me by the authors. I will check into your work though - thanks for the heads-up! ~ Amy

I have a growing interest on poetry any kind it is. I have mostly focused on the poets of my country sofar, however I am going to get more familiar with the poems of other nations and languages, especially the western poems. You probably can help me in this by sharing your favorite poems o me or writing them on Beautiful Poems group. I started this group for the mentioned purpose and to get know the beautiful poems of other cultures.

Hi Linor, Merry Christmas and wish you have a full 365-day beautiful year!. And thank you for reading the comments for finding common interests.
You mentioned "not the same poets". What kind of poets are you in?
Are you yourself a poet or do you occasionally compose poems?

    Wish your peace

I looked at your site and I really enjoyed the information there. The human mind is a complex thing that only God himself can touch when it is wounded.

Oh dear. Rena asked me to help her with her profile and getting all her links up... and I forgot I was signed in with her identity when I responded to you. Ooops! So the RenaM response about New York and graduate school is mine. Oh well, you're the only one who needs to know. Sorry for the confusion - but I do mean the warmest wishes and Christmas blessings! - Marg

Thanks, Linore. I lived in New York for a while (City and Scarsdale) and went to graduate school at Columbia. In college I almost married a guy from Ohio - and in fact, saw my first snow there (Christmas break during college, visiting his parents). Stay warm! My toes don't freeze as often or as severely back here in Florida. But then, we don't have a white Christmas, either. Have a blessed one! - Marg

Hi again, Linore. Thanks for responding. I would love to hear some of your grandmother stories. My situation these past 5 years has involved parents - first Mama (dementia) then Daddy (heart and more). Daddy died right before his 91st birthday, so the picture (his 90th) is an informal tribute to him. Mama needs special advanced (skilled nursing) care, so this year she went into long term care at a beautiful "country club" of a place, where she is even rolled to "music" and "church services" (which she clearly enjoys, even though she no longer speaks). I'm still over there weekly (another town) to visit her, speak with staff, and handle myriad things. I was very close to both my parents, and I cherish those special moments we had in the midst of all this!

Terri Shearer and I are currently working on information products to help beleaguered caregivers, so they don't have to learn many things the hard way, as we did. And I've started posting some blogs (in the midst of studying technical stuff for product launch) - http://www.homehealthcarebooks.com/healthcareblog/ - I welcome not only comments, but perhaps also your caregiving guest blog post (with your links).

As for the UK - YES! I love it. I was there many times 1967 (college) - 1973, but graduate school, corporate life, then family responsibilities have kept me from going in that direction ever since. Perhaps soon??? And do you get to the USA? Florida?
