Hi! My name's Lindsey. I'm almost an adult and I love to read pretty much anything. I work in a comic book store and have never met a graphic novel I didn't like (except for Jennifer's Body which was a huge disappointment). I particularly like comics/graphic novels that tie-in with movies and television (such as Buffy, X-Files, Doctor Who,... more »

OK - I'm not gonna spend time looking for the thread but I do remember the question and my response to it.

It isn't a problem to have duplicate editions on the editions page of a combined book. Why is that an issue for you? These various "editions" come to Shelfari from Amazon which, itself, carries multiple editions. Think of the editions tab as being the shelf of a bookstore or library... there are often multiple copies of the same editions.

    Does that help?

You'll have to give me a little more information. From what group? Did you, perhaps, subscribe to that thread and have a URL? It is unusual for such a thread to be deleted. If you have more specific words that you remember from the thread, you can search "discussions" for it.

    Hi

Re your title change request for I am Legend. Are all the editions in this combined book Graphic Novels? If so, please see the title conventions found in http://www.shelfari.com/groups/59851/about . If not, then those editions should be separated from this combined book. That same link gives instructions for that action.

I'm rejecting the request based on these concerns. Feel free to resubmit when/if you get those questions and actions resolved.

    Thanks!

Thanks for accepting my friend request! :) You've never met a graphic novel you haven't liked, huh? I've got one for you! Return to Labyrinth, Volume 1 by Jake T. Forbes. I really wanted to like it but it felt like the exact same storyline as the movie, but with a different main character. It really bummed me out. :(

Good to know. I'll half.com a copy and perhaps save it for next year's Canon Ball Read. Thanks for getting back to me about Let the Right One In.

    The Ancient One says

Be aware in the moment and awaken the dreamer within. Be a painter of thoughts and yours will be a garden of earthly delights. Let your life be a personal revolution guided by spirit and you will see miracles happen every day. Befriend and nourish your inner child and you will experience joy hitherto unknown. If we begin our day with love we will manifest happiness and create a better world for one and all.

Welcome to 1001 books. You can keep track of the books you have read from the book, 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die here and join in the discussions on the books we are reading for the month (from the book) or you can argue the merits of the list as some enjoy doing. We hope you will want to join in our discussions. The current books are at the top of the list for that month. If there is any way I or Mossflower can answer your questions about the group or about Shelfari, let us know.
If you don’t own the book the list can be found http://www.listology.com/content_show.cfm?content_id=22845. A downloadable list of the second edition is available at http://johnandsheena.co.uk/books/?page_id=160.
