Hey! My name is Brenda and I live in Berkley, MI..a few miles outside of Detroit. I was born in Illinois and lived there until I was 9, but lived in Texas until 1995 when I moved here. Basically, I am a freezing little bird who belongs back down south or out west, but I have a child in high school and one in college here who aren't ready to leave, so I am stuck a few more years. I am home now due to medical conditions, and I am busy reinventing myself, I suppose, or maybe peeling off a few layers. I am grateful to have plenty of time to read, although I am sad to not be in school right now-I usually am, but can't pull it off, so I am reading voraciously and my bookshelf really should be reflecting that-need to get busy on that, I suppose! I recently received Reiki I attunement and feel that I have always been able to help others with my hands and voice, and I am really interested in alternative healing, so I am busy reading about that.
