    “I was drawn to this book because it doesn't tell you what it's about - it just asks you to read it. Once you start to realise what's going on it gives you chills. It's classed as a young adult book but I've passed it on to several adult friends and they've all loved it.”

    “This is an amazing story and one of my top 5 books. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it wasn't longer. I know it's pretty unrealistic but I wanted the stories of all the descendants of Kunta Kinte to be as in depth as his. ”

    “This is my favourite book of all time. Every time I read it I fall in love with it again. Harper Lee gives all the characters such clear and pitch perfect voices.
    My dogs names are Scout and Atticus and my uncle got me an autographed copy of the book for my birthday.”
