I have a terrible habit of buying books faster than I can read them but it's better than having a terrible crack habit!

Hey LilJen, I see your shelf has grown by leaps and bounds. Have you read "6 Minutes to Freedom"? Just curious if you did and what you thought. Been a few weeks since I checked in and said hello.

Hi! Thanks for the nice note. You're right...between work and other obligations sometimes there just aren't enough hours in the day and I don't get to read as much as I'd like, but I definitely don't feel like my day is complete if I don't get to read at least a few chapters so it seems that sleep is the best sacrifice! haha

It seems we share the same habit of buying books faster than we can read them--sometimes I feel like I'm single-handedly keeping Barnes and Noble and Borders in business! :-)

I was looking through your shelf and noticed that we share similar tastes in reading. I saw several books on your shelf that look interesting and that will be on my shopping list for my next trip to the bookstore! What are you reading right now?

Hi LilJen! I love your puppy! Our girls (Cuppy in my avatar and her sister Sweet Pea, a grey short hair) are 7 years old would strongly object to the addition of a puppy. Otherwise I would have one in a minute, husband too. We sure share a lot of books. I, like you, buy them much faster than I could possibly read them--but hey, think of all the terrible ways I could be wasting my money! I enjoyed looking at your shelves and got lots of new ideas for my next bookstore visit!!!

Hello! I've just joined Shelfari and only have 29 books on my shelf (I'm just listing those I've read since January ) and we share 8 of those titles. I just read a great book I think you might like (based on our shared titles) The Rope Walk by Carrie Brown. I read an advanced review copy, it's not our until May. I loved it - very sweetly written.

So how did you like Amazing Gracie? I loved it! It is one of my favorite dog books. You have a great collection of books. I enjoyed looking at them all. I can relate to your book habit. I have the same. If I am not buying books I am thinking of books I want to buy.

45 new books! All I can say is "WOW". That should keep you busy for a while.
As for "Hell at the Breach" I loved the book. Great. Check out my review. You mentioned A.M. Homes a few days ago. What is your opinion?

I may be changing my hamchuck "squirel" photo soon so don't be alarmed. :)
