I'm a freshman English teacher and speech team coach at my high school. My husband is also a teacher and drama director at his school. We are excited to be in the final stages of the adoption of our beautiful son, Zachary. The adoption journey has been a long one, and reading books often kept me busy and positive during the wait.

I am very passionate about reading, and my goal is to try to turn reluctant readers (aka freshman students) into avid readers.

I love the classics, Shakespeare and of course Harry Potter, and my students have persuaded me to read various vampire and other fiction books that I have surprisingly enjoyed very much. I am open to reading pretty much any genre and one of my greatest joys is getting lost in a really good book! « less
