Short bio....I'm a writer by profession....I love good books, good food, good wine, and good times with my friends and loved ones.
Now, the details...I wanted to be a writer ever since Santa Claus gave me a Tom Thumb typewriter when I was six years old. My firsts short story, "My Mom Is Love A Bull" was an instant hit with the family.
At the ripe old age of eleven, I began writing "Girl From U.N.C.L.E. "episodes after my favorite television show was canceled. Sr. Mary Andrews, my homeroom teacher, set aside thirty minutes each week for me to read the latest adventures of April Dancer and Mark Slade to my classmates.
Fast forward to 1989…pursuing yet another dream, I opened an Italian-Japanese restaurant in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. I began writing late at night “to relax” from the long hours the restaurant demanded.
My first novel, "Sweet Bitter Love," was published in 1997 by Rising Tide Press, (New York). I also contributed several short stories to magazines and to two anthologies, "Early Embraces" and "New Beginnings" (Alyson Publications, CA).
Upon selling the restaurant in July 2000, I went back to my first love: writing.
In September 2007 "Painting The Invisible Man" was published. My thanks to Shelfari and J. Kaye for the great reviews and giving this book some exposure.
