Hei liez, thanks for the invite. have never heard of shelfari before u sent the note. hehe! but it is a good idea to have such a website, really...good to know how others think about what u are reading.or plan to read...class matters..is really saying that race and gender is being used as blinds for the real issue of poverty in america-class...yes, she said poverty is racialized and gendered but americans are not looking to the poor for answer but from the rich--interesting point she makes it that, it is easier to look away from class analysis as race and gender are recognizable categories for their enemies -not so easy with class...color? by that u mean race? or the aesthetic kind? if the last, i am not the person to ask...u studying too? what? how are ur kids..i may want to see a pic if that is ok...
