Welcome to Book Chat.... I am one of the Admins. Please take the time to introduce yourself to the group in "Hi my name is".
We are a very eclectic group of readers..... We are friendly and like to have fun. We have games, challenges, swaps & give-aways.
Enjoy your time w/ us!
Just click on my picture, and that will take you to my profile page. Underneath my picture there will be a little oval that will say, "Follow". All you have to do is click on that, and we are all following each other. They used to call it friending each other-it recently changed-sorry if I confused you! As soon as I notice that you did that, I will send you an invite to the Relay Group.
Just want to say how much I am enjoying The Tale of Hill Top Farm. I always loved Beatrix Potter books plus the setting is in Lake District which is one of my favourite places. I went there about 7-8 years ago and actually visited Hill Top Farm. Thanks for introducing me to this series.
Also well done on finishing the 12 x 12 challenge!
Happy new year!
Hard to cook lobster wrong and there are many choices.
For a distinctive restauarant, try Cuban restaurant Havana (318 Main Street; 207-288-CUBA).
For fun watch a movie on couches with great pizza and wine served on table/shelves: Reel Cinerama (33 Kennebec Pl).
In Ellsworth on way over to Mt. Desert, there is a great mediterranean restuarant, Cleonice (112 Main St.).
Bar Harbor is ppretty crowded in summer and hard to get a rural Maine experience . Consider an excursion 10 miles east of Ellsworth and down to Schoodic Point. Great ledges and pounding ocean without so many people. Check out quaint harbor of Birch Harbor and lobster fishing village of Corea (nothing touristy there). Enjoy!
Thanks so much, Linda C; "Until September" arrived in my FL mailbox! Iwas visiting at home in MA for 2 weeks and just got back last night (brrr - cold!), so this is the first chance I have to say thank you. It's so nice of you to send it to me - maybe I'll be able to return the favor.
Happy retirement! Don't you wonder where you found time to work now""
