I live in the U.S and I'm going into 10th grade.
Obviously I love to read. Music and books are my life (besides friends and family). I like all different types of music (mostly). And my favorite song changes daily or weekly. Everything I said about music goes for books too. I like almost any book. My favorite books are fiction. And I love... more »

Although I still do keep in touch with my friends in the US :)

Oh My Gosh! I love the smell of old books too. I just hate the yellow pages because the book looks like it's about to fall apart. HAHA,

oh poor you....I am putting off my homework for as long as possible...but I really should do it now....
haha it is a lot of fun! and actually it varies, sometimes you have to pay for the books, sometimes you pay a discounted price and sometimes the full price, haha one time this author was signing her book, and I asked her how much they were(I was waiting in line with my mom for another book and was bored out of my wits!) and she said 5 bucks, and I went back over to my mom and told her and she gave me the money and I went back and they were out and had to go get some more, because they kept me waiting...5 minutes I got it for free lol(the funniest part was I was waiting in line anyway so it didn't make a difference to me)

I'll go and check the bookstore as soon as I can and grab myself a copy of that! (Oh my! My books-to-buy/read list is getting longer by the minute! My xmas money is doomed! LOL)

You're lucky to have a library to go and lend books from! I remember going to the library down the street from my house and checked out 5 Goosebumps books all at once! HAHA. But that was such a long time ago and I'm kind of sad that I took that opportunity for granted. Now that I'm here in the Philippines, I miss NOT having to buy books and enjoying the smell of old libraries. See, here... there's not a single public library available. Well, if there is... their books are so outdated, the pages are yellow! No wonder people never go there anymore! HAHA.

(sorry my post took too long. i got a little carried away. lol.)

hahaha.....to bad for you, though good as well cause at least now you don't have to work lol
I hope so too! I have been there before two years ago when it was in California, I loved it...but this time will be even better because last time I had to stay by the exibit because in order to go anywhere without an adult you have to be older than 16 and I was only 14 at the time....but now I am not so I can explore more and get more books lol

HAHA! Oh my gosh! YOU. ARE. NOT. ALONE. I have so many books I want to read (and are reading) in the moment. LOL.

Regarding the Maximum Ride books, no I haven't read those yet. I've heard great reviews, though! :)
And I'm still waiting for a paperbound copy of City of Glass as well. They're not available till Christmas! The fact that I haven't read the "end" of the mortal instruments is annoying the bananas out of me! HAHA.
