I am generally not the most fond of the social networking scene, but I love books. And I love the idea of having a place to keep track of the books I have read, make notes on them, and occasionally review what I have written about them to see what has changed. I have often viewed books as friends; the best books you develop a very intimate relationship with.

I am also an author with three published books and greatly enjoy writing poetry, although I have only had one poem which I have had to courage to publish so far. For the most part I read intelligent fiction, the classics, psychology, philosophy, and religious/spiritual works, although I occasionally delve outside of this realm. « less
