    Hi Leticia,
I love your Cheshire!I recently saw the Alice in Wonderland movie. I saw your writings on the Quote group pg. You wrote awhile back about Elie Weisel and his book Night. I just read the trilogy, which is Night,Dawn and Day.The other 2 stories are novels.Elie is speaking at Chapman University in the city of Orange, Ca. sometime this month.(April)I think it may be the 25th.You wrote he was attacked in San Francisco..unbelieveable. I hope you get the chance to hear him speak.

    Hi Leticia~

I'm glad you're checking out "Better Angel". I like books that are great because they give insight and perspective to a character, major event or situation, such as Walt Whitman and the personal redemption that came from his experiences during the Civil War.

    Hi Leticia,
I am reading Wicked, by Gregory Maguire. It is quite fantastical, much like Harry Potter or something like that. I am going to NY for my first time ever this summer and I want to see the musical Wicked because I like the soundtrack. So I thought I'd read the book. Also I have Year of Wonders by Geraldine Brooks, an historical novel based on the plague and a village that was quarantined. Kind of timely with the bird flu supposedly coming our way.
I have trouble reading 2 books at once, so I want to finish Wicked to read the other one. What are you reading?

hi, and you're welcome...right this minute (or last night anyway) I finished up Liquor by Poppy Z. Brite, and I plan to start The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami tonight...I'm also in the middle of Schrodinger's Cat Trilogy by Robert Anton Wilson, and...Jane Eyre, which I've been trudging my painful way through for several weeks now..I figure I'll finish the thing by Christmas...maybe, lol
